ADVICE ON GETTING THE BEST PRINTS FROM THE FILES ON YOUR C.D

You are able to use the files on your C.D. to make high quality prints, there are a number of options open to you.

Home Printing-using a high quality home printer (inkjet or pigment ) can yield excellent results, although you will need to bear in mind, that inkjet prints should use manufacturers inks and paper (or a high quality alternative) to give you the best results, and to ensure a degree of permanence in the prints.Cheaper inks and papers will fade more quickly, the last thing you would want from your priceless photos.

Professional Photographic Printing-we use Loxley Colour Lab in Cumbernauld for all our Wedding printing.I would suggest that if you want the best possible results from the files, have them printed by Loxley,or another reputable print company.

Minilab-many minilabs will produce very good quality prints, often considerably cheaper than a professional printer.Rarely, however will the quality match the pro printers.Rather than completely automatic prints, the pro labs will  make adjustments to individual shots, and  with a much higher degree of quality control, resulting in highest quality photographs.

I speak as someone who spent 12 years operating a minilab, and realise that time and material constraints are reflected in the price.I have had many excellent quality prints made using minilabs, but if the photographs are especially important,i would always use a professional lab to print the photos.

We are available to offer advice on sizing of prints

Should you desire an extremely large print-or canvas

from one of the files,we will size it specifically to give you the best possible quality. We will not  make any additional charge for the resizing, all you will pay is cost of print or canvas..
